Our Editorial Standards
At Nutrition Health Book, we believe in transparent, evidence-based content that empowers readers to make informed decisions about their nutrition and wellness. This page outlines our commitment to editorial excellence, accuracy, and integrity.
Our Publishing Principles
These five principles guide every article, guide, and recommendation we publish. They ensure our content serves your health and wellness journey with integrity.
Accuracy First
Every claim in our articles is based on current scientific literature, expert consensus, and peer-reviewed research. We cite our sources and distinguish between established facts and areas of ongoing debate in nutrition science.
Expert Authorship
Our writers include registered nutritionists, health educators, and researchers with verified credentials. Each author's background and expertise are disclosed, and we welcome independent verification of our team's qualifications.
Transparency & Disclosure
We clearly identify sponsored content, affiliate relationships, and any potential conflicts of interest. Our editorial independence is paramount, and we never allow commercial interests to influence the substance or tone of our advice.
Rigorous Fact-Checking
Before publication, every article undergoes multiple rounds of review. Our editorial team fact-checks claims, verifies citations, and ensures that content meets our quality standards. We maintain a documented audit trail of all reviews.
Living Documents
Nutrition science evolves. When new research emerges, we update our articles to reflect current evidence. All substantive updates are noted with publication and revision dates so readers know when content was last reviewed.
Reader-Focused Content
We write for you—not medical professionals, not industry insiders. Our content is accessible, jargon-free where possible, and designed to equip readers with practical knowledge for informed personal decisions.

Our Fact-Checking Process
Source Identification & Verification
Every factual claim is traced to one or more primary sources—peer-reviewed journals, official health organizations, or recognized expert bodies. We verify that sources are current, credible, and relevant to the claim made.
Internal Editorial Review
The author's draft undergoes review by at least one senior editor. We check for logical flow, clarity, and alignment with our principles. Citations are compared to the text to ensure accurate representation.
Expert Fact-Check
A subject-matter expert (often from outside our immediate team) reviews the article for scientific accuracy. They verify claims against original research and note any areas where evidence is disputed or evolving.
Final Approval & Publication
Once all revisions are complete and approved, the Editor-in-Chief signs off on publication. The article is dated with both original publication and last-reviewed dates, and all sources are archived for future verification.
Corrections & Updates Policy
We take accuracy seriously. If an error is identified or research changes, we act transparently.
Minor Corrections
Small factual corrections, typos, or clarifications are corrected immediately with a notation in the article footer indicating the correction date and nature of the change. The original publication date remains unchanged.
Major Updates
When new research significantly changes our understanding or recommendations, we update the article substantively. A "Last Updated" date appears prominently, and a summary of changes is noted below the headline so readers understand what has evolved.
Obsolete or Retracted Content
In rare cases where an article is found to be seriously inaccurate or based on subsequently retracted research, we may add a prominent disclaimer at the top, remove it from recommendations, or retract it entirely. Retracted articles remain accessible with full explanation of why.
How to Report an Error
Spotted something inaccurate? Contact our editorial team at [email protected] with specific details—article URL, the claim in question, and supporting sources. We review all feedback within five business days and respond to substantive corrections.
